Easy Banana Bread Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • - 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • - 1/3 cup melted butter
  • - 3/4 cup sugar
  • - 1 large egg beaten
  • - 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • - 1 tsp baking soda
  • - Pinch of salt
  • - 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • - Optional: 1/2 cup chocolate chips or chopped walnuts

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 4x8-inch loaf pan.
  2. Mash bananas in a bowl. Stir in melted butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla.
  3. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Fold into the wet mix.
  4. Add chocolate chips or nuts if using.
  5. Pour batter into loaf pan. Bake 50–60 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool for 10 minutes, then transfer to a rack. Slice and enjoy.

Notes

- Best with very ripe bananas (spotted).
- Don’t overmix—lumpy batter is fine.
- Works as muffins too (20–25 minutes bake time).
