Sonic & Grillo’s Pickles Launch Big Dill Meal: A Dill-icious Collaboration
Hold onto your taste buds, pickle lovers! Sonic Drive-In and cult-favorite Grillo’s Pickles have teamed up to release the Big Dill Meal, a limited-time pickle-packed menu dropping nationwide on June 30, 2025.
This bold collaboration celebrates National Pickle Month (July) by putting tangy dill in everything from burgers to slushes, making it perfect for pickle lovers looking for something new!

The Big Dill Meal is a triple-threat of pickle-infused items. Each meal includes:
Big Dill Double or Triple SONIC Smasher
A larger-than-life smashed-Angus beef burger stacked with two slices of American cheese, crisp dill pickle–seasoned cucumber slices, Grillo’s Pickle Chips, fresh lettuce, and a creamy “dilly” ranch sauce on a soft potato bun. (Double starts at $7.49; Triple starts at $8.49)
Picklerita Slush
A sweet-and-tart lime-pickle slush made with real pickle juice, featuring bubbly Pickle Juice Flavor Pearls and crowned with a Grillo’s Pickle Chip. (20 oz. from $3.99.)

Sonic’s Pickle Passion: A Quick Backstory
This isn’t Sonic’s first pickle rodeo. The chain has been “innovating in pickles since 2018,” with prior limited-time items like a pickle-juice slush and even a Big Dill meal in 2022. In fact, Sonic first trialed a pickle slush back in June 2018, and it became a cult favorite.
As Sonic’s VP of Marketing, Barb Williams puts it, “Pickles are kind of our thing,” and she calls the new Big Dill Meal “our most craveable pickle lineup yet”. Grillo’s Pickles CMO Mark Luker adds that the mashup is all in good fun – “Live Free, Eat Pickles,” he says, encouraging fans of both brands to enjoy every dill-icious bite.
