Starting Friday, June 20, 2025 (the first day of summer), Sonic Drive-In is kicking off Live Free Fridays, a new promotion where app users get a freebie in the Sonic app every single Friday through August 29. Each week, a different menu item is automatically loaded to your account — no codes or coupons needed.
In fact, Sonic’s summer freebies include fan-favorites like corn dogs, Sonic Shakes (with a purchase), tater tots, Groovy Fries, mozzarella sticks, cheeseburgers, and more.
Just open the app on Friday to see what’s unlocked, make any qualifying purchase, and the snack is yours — easy peasy!
What Freebies to Expect
Every Friday from June 20 through Aug 29, Sonic’s app will give you a different freebie to pick up with any purchase. These freebies come right off Sonic’s menu, and we’ve seen the list of possibilities:
